Woodturning: Working with Resins

Incorporating resins into turning projects opens up many opportunities for the innovative woodturner. This workshop will focus on preparing resins, such as Alumilite and Epoxy, to turn. Principles of use for resins will be reviewed, as well as the molds required to cast these resins. Techniques for preparing hybrid casts will be covered, as well as additional topics as time permits.

This class will focus on preparing blanks in preparation for turning, but will not include turning during the workshop.

This is a two day workshop. Each day will begin at 9:00 am and end at around 4:00 pm. The workshop will be held at Intersections Wood Collaborative at 299 10th Street E., Owen Sound.
