Take the next steps in pen turning through advanced pen blank design and turning techniques. Explore complex wood glue‐ups (Celtic knot, segmented‐swirl, herringbone, scallops, chevrons), wood stabilization, alternate materials (acrylics, corian, antler, soft metals). Turn pens without mandrels.

Participants will have the opportunity to stabilize a pen blank, make segmented‐swirl and scalloped blanks, turn a stabilized Sierra pen, and turn a segmented‐swirl Maple Leaf pen and scalloped Cigar pen. Pens make great gifts for family and friends!
